Knots in the wood and brush strokes from crafting are to be expected. Although each board will be stained the color of your choosing, there is no guarantee that each board will come out the same color. Different "lots" of wood have unique wood grains that pull in many different shades and patterns lending to the one-of-a-kind/rustic nature of this style. No two boards stain alike.
